Since March I have been learning several different Scott Joplin
rags, including Elite Syncopations, The Strenuous Life, The
Peacharine Rag, Original Rags, The Sunflower Slow Drag, and The
Easy Winners. The more rags I learn, the better I am at picking up
new rags since a lot of the techniques are the same. However, at
this time I am focusing on relearning Rachmaninoff's G minor
Prelude. I feel I have a good number of rags to perform for people
in addition to the classical pieces I play, so I would like to go
back to playing something classical and impressive.
